Recura (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Recura mobile application for iOS (the “App”).
1. Information We Collect
Subscription data you enter. Recura is a privacy-first subscription tracker. The subscriptions, prices, renewal dates, reminders, and related details you add are stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage technologies. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal financial data, bank account details, or login credentials for third-party services.
Purchase information. If you buy the optional “Remove Ads” in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple through StoreKit. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so we can unlock ad-free mode on your device. We do not receive your payment card details.
Advertising data. If you use the free version of the App, we show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers (such as Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers where permitted), IP address, app interaction data, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads. Analytics. We may rely on anonymous, aggregated analytics provided by Apple (such as App Store Connect analytics and crash reports) to improve stability and performance. This data does not include the subscription entries you create in the App.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide core App features (tracking subscriptions, reminders, and statistics on your device).
- To deliver and measure advertising in the free version, unless you purchase ad removal.
- To process and restore in-app purchases through Apple.
- To send local notifications you enable for payment or cancellation reminders.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your subscription entries. Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the App, including:
- Apple — App distribution, in-app purchases, and optional iCloud device backup.
- Google AdMob — advertising in the free version of the App.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies and applicable law.
4. Data Retention
Subscription data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App. If you use iCloud backup, Apple may include App data in your encrypted device backup according to your Apple ID settings.
5. Your Choices
- You can delete subscription data at any time inside the App.
- You can disable notifications in the App or in iOS Settings.
- You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- You can purchase “Remove Ads” to stop banner and interstitial advertising.
6. Children’s Privacy
Recura is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
7. International Users
The App is available globally. By using Recura, you understand that advertising partners such as Google may process data in countries other than your own, in accordance with their policies and applicable law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated inside the App.
