These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Quotra mobile application for iOS (the “App”) published by SIX11 (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
Quotra is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”), which is incorporated by reference. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA regarding your license to use the App, the Apple Standard EULA controls for that conflict.
2. The App
Quotra provides curated quotes, topics, favorites, sharing tools, Home Screen widgets, and optional reminders. Quote content is provided for personal inspiration and reflection. The App does not require an account to use core features.
3. Quotra Premium Subscriptions
Quotra offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (“Quotra Premium”) that unlock additional topics and features, remove ads, and enable premium capabilities described in the App.
- Products: Monthly and Yearly auto-renewable subscriptions.
- Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase through Apple’s App Store / StoreKit.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Management: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions), or via the manage-subscription controls in the App where available.
- Trials: If a free trial is offered, unused portions are forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable under Apple’s rules.
Prices are shown in the App and on the App Store listing for your storefront and may vary by region. We do not control Apple’s billing systems.
4. Advertising
The free version of the App may display advertisements (for example via Google AdMob). Quotra Premium removes ads. Advertising partners may collect data as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse engineer it (except where permitted by law), interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, trademarks, and curated presentation are owned by SIX11 or its licensors. Quote text may be attributed to historical or contemporary authors; attribution does not imply endorsement. You may share quotes for personal, non-commercial use through the App’s share features.
7. Disclaimer
The App and its content are provided “as is” for personal inspiration. Quotes are not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SIX11 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.
9. Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
